At Humans Love Stories, we believe that a celebration of life should be a heartfelt and personalized tribute to the person you loved. Our services offer a compassionate and meaningful experience that will honor your loved one's memory.

Personalized and Customized: Your ceremony will be tailored to reflect your loved one's unique story, values, and personality.
Intimate and Meaningful: With a typical length of 30-45+ minutes, our ceremonies offer a meaningful and intimate experience for your loved ones.
Flexible Ceremony Options: Living wake/funeral, full length funeral followed by graveside service, Celebration of Life held after final committal, short graveside ceremony without full funeral service, witnessed cremation, etc.
Compassionate Support: We offer free consultation and a dedicated family meeting to help you share stories and plan a ceremony that truly honors your loved one.
Collaborative Approach: We work closely with funeral directors, venue technicians, and other vendors to ensure a seamless and memorable event.
Commemorative Ceremony Script: You will receive a commemorative ceremony script to cherish as a lasting reminder of your loved one.

The Twin Cities only private, outdoor, nature based facility used for therapeutic purposes for a positive impact on mental, spiritual, and physical health.

Located between Minneapolis and Saint Paul in the Midway-neighborhood and within walking distance to multiple breweries, restaurants, and entertainment venues like Can-Can Wonderland and Flannel Jacks, Humans Love Stories’ celebrant welcomes you into his private backyard oasis for a gathering illuminated by twinkling lights and cozy campfire.

Celebrancy was established by the Australian Commonwealth Attorney General Lionel Murphy on July 19, 1973.
Some “radical” ideas for at the time which include:reversal of the control of wedding ceremonies as only the functions of the state or religious institutions;
citizens could choose their own celebrant (not the state/church deciding);
appointment of aborigines (who had only been counted as humans in the census some six years before);
appointment of young people (the first civil marriage celebrant was appointed at 26 years of age, a woman, Lois D'Arcy);
celebrating the milestones of life was just as important for secular people as it was for religious people.
A “radical” Celebrant is ultimately on the side of the community officiating at secular ceremonies of substance, meaning and dignity mainly for non-church people.

If not fully satisfied, the Client may notify Humans Love Stories within five days for a refund.

Requirements for travel are outlined in the service agreement which all parties must sign before a booking is confirmed.

Knowing the difference between an honorarium and a professional fee for service is helpful when determining which vendors to utilize for your event while also meeting the parameters of your budget.
With over 15 years experience creating and officiating custom ceremonies, all Services and/or Products offered by Humans Love Stories are in exchange for a professional fee. In order to utilize Humans Love Stories Services, a Service Agreement will be signed outlining Services and/or Product(s) requested and responsibilities of each party.
However, any Client (or guest for that matter) who feels a Service and/or Product(s) exceeded their expectations, may then choose to offer an honorarium, a voluntary payment given as a token of appreciation and gesture of goodwill, in addition to the professional fee previously paid for said Service and/or Product.
An honorarium is never expected when a fee-for-service is paid.
